Later this August I will have the pleasure of shooting Stacy and Casey’s Peterborough wedding. However, quite recently we slipped in an engagement shoot at the popular Jackson Park. Engagement shoots are a great time to for my clients to get to know me better and vice versa. And the added benefit of the shoot is we create some great images for them to remember this young and exciting time of their life just before they were married.

Here are just a few of my fav’s from our time together.

This mid-July took me to Baxter Creek Golf Club for the ceremony and reception of Amber and Rob. This was not my first time to Baxter Creek Golf Club for a wedding and for those that have not been to Baxter Creek Golf Club, you will find a beautiful location for a small to medium sized wedding reception. The staff are great, the food is to rave about and the venue is excellent.

On the day of Amber and Rob’s wedding we saw really high winds for a short period of time, and severe storm clouds to our north. Fortunately for all, the wind calmed shortly after the outdoor ceremony and the storm clouds kept their distance and did not impact our time after the ceremony when were creating beautiful images.

This October Lynette and Andy will be getting hitched in the beautiful Kawartha’s. Their engagement shoot took us to the park Andy works at, Emily Provincial Park. We first started off on the Emily Tract trails, just around the corner from Emily Park. Both were excellent locations for an outdoors couple to have some keepsake photography.

Lynette and Andy are a great couple and I’m looking forward to their October wedding. It will be a date to remember.

The below was captured behind a local gas station/convenience store. They were so welcoming there it gave me a warm feeling inside.
