Ashley & Adam – Peterborough November Wedding

Early this November I had the pleasure of being Ashley & Adam’s wedding photographer. Like many of my clients, they are a wedding photographers dream couple. What makes me say that? Because they said “you’re the pro, so you do whatever you want”. Excellent!

Ashley and Adam, their family and friends are all great people. They are all very family oriented and on their wedding day it was quite clear to me that everyone present was there to witness the union of these two. At the reception there were some very nice heart-felt speeches. And I witnessed during Adam’s speech that he can be a pretty funny guy sometimes. Once or twice he had the whole place roaring … not sure if it was intentional or not. :)

Enjoy my LARGE selection of fav’s from their great wedding.

Amanda & Richard – Trent Univeristy – Peterborough

When I first met Amanda & Richard at Starbucks in Peterborough, I was impressed with the two of them. They made an immediate impression to me that this was two people in love. This guy just couldn’t keep his hands off his woman! LOL I mean this in a good way. He would touch her leg, her hand, her back. Very affectionate, and that is just what a wedding photographer loves to see. I knew when we went to do their engagement shoot it was going to be an affectionate, lots of physical contact type of images. It was nice to work with a couple that needed little coaching in showing their feelings for each other.

Why Trent U? Amanda and Richard are avid readers. So we bounced around the idea of going to some coffee shops in Peterborough and bringing some books to place on their table to add to the uniqueness of their story. Since we were going to start our time where Richard proposed, which was close to Trent U, I suggested we go to Amanda and my old alma mater, Trent U, and see about shooting in the library. They liked the idea and after clearing it with the cool supervisor that was on duty, in we went for some fun.
