LOCATION

The Peterborough Radio Control Model Flying Club currently has two flying sites. Our primary site is on private property east of the town of Douro. Our second location is our winter indoor facility at the Peterborough Armouries.

Primary Airstrip

Our primary airstrip is on the private propery of full scale pilot Charles Brown.

Here is a summary of the most important rules we must follow at our primary airstrip:

• When entering the property, use the driveway to the right to steer away from the owners home
• Park your vehicle on the south side of the full scale airstrip
• Never drive your vehicle across the full scale airstrip. Park to the south and walk across (even when unloading your equipment)
• Our fly zone is north of the full scale airstrip. Never fly over the landlords home to the southwest nor south of the full scale airstrip (which is in the direction of County Rd 8 and the neighbors homes)
• Field hours are 9am to dusk, 7 days a week
